The Möbius lamp is based on the Möbius ribbon motif, whose philosophical message is the infinite and eternal cycle, symbolizes the importance of processes that are recurring and self-recurring. A self-returning strip is a two-dimensional surface, has one side and two edges, an infinite surface shape.
The Möbius lamp was inspired by the interplay of interior design space and fine art. A visual art element which , in addition to illuminating the space , can emphasise the identity and atmosphere of the building.
The Möbius lamp is a curved system of shapes whose elements can be scaled and assembled in various ways, freely extendablein all directions, the lighting image can be freely varied to create a composition of any size. The infinite variations give you the possibility to adapt to the space. The interlocking of 3 elements gives the smallest composition.
The battery system is made of stainless woven mesh, which is fireproof, durable, easy to clean, can be coloured as desired. It has theadded advantage of being self-supporting, the edges can be worked by sanding, the joining points are invisible. The overall weight is light, so the suspension can be varied.

The metal mesh form has 3 dominant lighting concepts:
– the form lit from the inside = the metal mesh will have a translucent surface
– the shape is lit from the outside = the metal mesh appears to have a solid surface
– illuminating the edge of the shape = spatial graphics are created

The material of the lamp is manufactured in a factory, the assembly is done by hand. The lamp is ready for series production.
With sustainability in mind, the material used for the lamp is woven metal mesh, which goes against the practice of disposability because its durability lasts for several lifetimes.

My completed application is entitled: Light effects
Concept:
Light is part of our lives, it determines everything, the course of our day, our activity, our emotional attitude. We cansense it when it is projected onto a surface. A shadow is created behind the non-transparent surface. This light-shadow contrast pair gives contrast and dynamism to the space. The contrast between light and shade in our environment , including our homes, has a dynamic effect on our mood. For example, mood lighting is a blur of faint contrasts , perfect for relaxing, and bright light, with sharp shadows, stimulates activity.
The theme of my application is an exhibition installation, where the light-shadow games and contrasts appear in 3 different ways on the surfaces surrounding the exhibited lamps. This surface has a leather pause drapery, between which are suspended the lamps. The skin break is slightly translucent, on which the light effects of the 3 lamps appear and penetrate the paper drapery through several layers. The super-bright metal strips of the Hélix lamp (left) throw the light in different directions, hasdirect and indirect lighting. The Moha lamp (centre) is made up of Onix discs with a patterned light, whose soft light creates soft shadows, while the upward and downward light of the Bell lamp (right) generates dynamic lightshadows.
The fine stone coffee tables are reflective surfaces that catch the downward light beams.
The theme of the carpets is also about reflection, displaying dark-light, light-matte contrasts.

The Galaxis is a light installation symbolising infinity and continuous flow, consisting of 01.3 m of stainless steel curved tubes with dimmable luminous ends. The glossy material is illuminated by a multitude of tiny, dotted lights, lending a festive touch to the surroundings . The
installation is an integral decorative addition to a representative space. An important element of the concept , in addition to the construction solution, is the use of modern elements to create elegance.

Möbius light installation at Expo 2021

Water is the central theme of the Hungarian pavilion at the 2021 World Expo in Dubai.
The Hungarian pavilion , Aqua Roots of Hungary, will showcase Hungary’s aquatic treasures, our natural waters, medicinal and thermal waters.
Márton Tóth, theinterior designer, has developed this concept ininterior design. The feeling of being close to nature is expressed through the use of wood materials, curved decorative elements and mood lights, for example, the curved vine lines on the wall cladding are reminiscent of the reeds around our waterways.
The concept of the 3 light installations in the bistro room is also linked to the theme of water. The golden woven metal lattice is made up of 3 formations of 3 interlocking Möbius strips, whose lines symbolize the eternal cycle of nature, harmony or renewal. Its shape was also reminiscent of the plaited fishing nets of popular culture, which evokes the aquatic life of the Danube.
The light installations are created by designer Szandra Szentgyörgyi, who is studying the potential of Möbius light installations as a fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Arts (MMA).
The raw material for the light installations is produced in a domestic factory, Hutter and Schrantz Hungária Kft. metal weaving plant. Before the final shape is formed, Following Sandra’ s instructions and in consultation with the factory, models were made from various metal meshes. The mood lighting of the installation is provided by a light bulb in the centre of the form, which also highlights the mesh, reminiscent of the water droplets on a fishing net.

Light installation
for the stairwell of a private villa, consisting of 30 Onix slabs and acrylic blocks lit by RGB control. It illuminates the narrow staircase space in an airy and glare-free way.

The Moha lamp is a spectacular piece of upcycling design. It uses small scraps from three different manufacturing areas (glass, stone, metal) to create the discs that make up the lamp.
The ceiling light installation consists of 49 suspended stone and glass discs with adjustable brightness. The disc is held in place by a shiny stainless steel ring.
Air movement causes the static composition to move through the subtle movement and rotation of the discs. The discs have modern, energy-saving, concealed LED lighting.
The stone disc is dominated by a stone pattern in a suggestive light, while the glass disc shines like a crystal as a result of the rustic use of materials. Light reflecting off the shiny stainless surface of the discs enhances the shine. This double lighting effect, together with the composition, is a striking feature of the space.
The parts ofthe installation are custom made, the assembly is done by hand.
It is apremium product, that goes against the grain of planned obsolescence and disposability, because the noble materials it contains will last for generations and the object inheritsits high aesthetic and design value from generation to generation.

The MOM Cultural Centre 2011. The task during the reconstruction of the, to add new facilities and functions while preserving the values of a well-functioning centre. The 1951-Built in Bauhaus style
wasoriginally the cultural centre of the former MOM – Hungarian Optical Works.
The lead architect of the reconstruction is Sandroza Ltd. represented by interior designer Rózsa Csavarga, with whom it was possible to design unique lamps .

The main feature of the dome is a light installation in the form of a spiral “V” shape. The inner arc is illuminated, the outer part is shiny stainless steel plate, and its lightcan be adjusted to the mood of the event

At the request of Teampannon Architects
I designeda light installation for the MTA lobby. The 6m diameter black steel ring is fixed to the ceiling at 4 points.

Designed with elegance in mind for the reception area of M-Teampannon Architects. The brightness of the lamp can be adjusted to suit the event. Interesting feature is the 6 cm thick clear acrylic block, whose enclosing shape is further emphasised by the interfering pattern on its surface.

The concept was to create a working environment that keeps employees motivated through innovative inspiration. The graphic playfulness of the light installation draws the attention
in the huge foyer. The light sources can be dimmed to suit the event and the mood. The light is surrounded by a scrolling wooden sculpture painted white.
